TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Please ensure that there is a clear and clean area for the assembly of the bed. We are not responsible to move or dismantle other pieces of furniture.

2. It’s the customer’s responsibility to double check all measurements provided on listed descriptions. NO REFUNDS will be given for beds that haven’t been measured correctly by the customer.

2.1 Our beds are made up of various sized sheets, when placing an order measurements can be found on descriptions and you're responsible for checking the bed will fit. Our customers are also responsible for making sure we know every detail about your bed and any changes you wish to make once ordering. Although we can fit our biggest sheets into 99% of properties, there are a few properties which require smaller sheets. If you have had any problems with fitting furniture into bedrooms in your house, then please let us know by e-mailing, and by possibly sending photographs. We will not be held responsible for sheets that are unable to fit into your designated room. The largest sheet is 250cm x 122cm.

3. Once your bed has been delivered and installed, you are required to thoroughly check the bed and confirm that you accept the bed and are satisfied with the condition that it has been left with you in. Once this has been confirmed we will not be held responsible for any damage caused to it.

3.1. If you do not require us to deliver the bed, and would like to arrange collection yourself, please note we can’t be held responsible for any damages that are caused or any issues with the bed, due to us not assembling the bed for you. We also do not supply instructions as our preferred method is for ourself to assemble the bed for you, but will supply the fixings needed to assemble the bed yourself.

3.2. You will be provided with an hour time slot 1 week before delivery, failure to be at your property at this time will result in a redelivery charge and a delay in receiving your bed for up to 4 weeks.

3.3. Change in your delivery date 2 days prior to your delivery will  result in a £35 administration charge.

4. If you have selected the wrong design, stairs, bed or measured incorrectly we may be able to resolve the problem for you but this will incur a full redelivery, new panel build(this may include an extra cost) and admin charge.

5. If there is a change in your delivery address we must be notified by email to handmadecreationsjoinery1612@gmail.com ASAP

6. If you have not received contact from our team within 2-3 working days from order please contact us via email.

WARNING

7. Even if we do not paint your bed we always recommend that you paint the bed yourself to seal the MDF to stop the risk of dust being released from the MDF.

7.1. If the screw caps on the bed come lose they could create a chocking hazard for children under 3 years old.

7.2. The bed can not be used if a part of the structure is missing or broken, this must be seen to straight away.

7.3. Mid/High sleepers are not suited to children below the age of 6 years due to the risk of injury in the event of a fall.

7.4. Warning: the distance between the top safety barrier and the wall must not exceed 75 mm or must be at least 230 mm, this is to prevent any child getting stuck in between the safety barrier and the wall.

7.5. Compliant with European Standard EN747-1 and EN747-2 of 2012.

7.6. Children must take care when playing on the top bunk.

7.7. Do not allow any child to swing or jump on or under the bed, this may damage the bed or cause an injury.

7.8. Children MUST Always use the ladder or stairs to gain access to and down from the top bunk.

7.9. If you require any replacement parts, these must only be replaced by Handmade Creations Joinery.

8. These goods that you have ordered will become your property when they have been delivered to you. Once you have taken delivery of them, they will be held at your own risk and we will not be held responsible for their loss or destruction.

9.When placing an order, we require a minimum of 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the delivery date but if the customer would like to pay a bigger deposit they can, and it will be less off the final bill.

10.We offer a delivery service that will be charged at an extra rate depending on your location or you can also choose to collect the product free of charge.

11. CANCELLATION BY US

11.1 We reserve the right not to process your order if:

11.1.1 We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;

11.1.2 We do not deliver to your area; or

11.1.3 One or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.

11.2 CANCELLATION BY YOU

11.2.1 For custom built beds:

A £35 administration charge will be applied for orders cancelled once your order is processed and delivery date is given.

A 50% cancellation charge will be applied for orders cancelled once your order has gone into production.

11.3 REFUNDS

As a custom built product your item is non-refundable unless damaged on delivery or faulty.

11.4 If you purchase a mattress from us, there is strictly no refund on mattresses due to health and safety.

12.1

All products come with 5-year warranty.

This warranty does not cover:

12.1.1. Damages caused by misuse, abuse and accidents

12.1.2. Damage or discolouration caused by sunlight or artificial lighting sources

12.1.3. Variation within the colour or graining of the wood

12.1.4. Products that have been altered/adjusted by the purchaser

12.1.5. Products that have been incorrectly assembled by the purchaser

If we must cancel your order we will notify you as soon as possible and if you have paid already by direct debit then we will refund your money back to you within 14 days.

14. If any of these terms and conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be notified.

15. You acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms of our privacy policy.

16. Nothing in this agree is intended to, nor shall it confer to any other rights on a third party.

Returns.

Due to all products being hand made to order we do not offer refunds unless the product is damaged on delivery or faulty.

We offer no returns on mattresses due to health and safety.

Refunds.

If you return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment.

Shipping

Delivery costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of delivery will be deducted from your refund.
